I provide high-level expertise to organizations and teams interested in animal welfare. My work focuses on helping translate animal welfare science into practical, informed decisions. I work independently with zoos, sanctuaries, NGOs, legal teams, and research institutions on complex questions of welfare evaluation, policy, and program design.

My consulting work is organized around four integrated areas of practice. Together, they reflect a single goal: applying animal welfare science to improve animal wellbeing, guide institutional decision-making, and support ethical, evidence-based programs. Engagements range from independent assessments and expert analysis for legal matters to the development of welfare assessments, staff training, and long-term program strategy.
